He has been a small businessman in Pearland for nearly 30 years, recently served as Mayor Pro-Tem of Pearland, is past President of the Pearland Economic Development Corporation, past Chairman of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, and former member of the Pearland ISD School Board.
Thompson is now in his 39th year of officiating football games in Texas. He and his wife Freddie have two children and four grandchildren.
